Dosage of etanercept

In adults with rheumatoid arthritis etanercept is administered twice weekly by sub-cutaneous injection at a dose of 25 mg. The agent is cleared slowly with a half life of 70 hours.

In children over 4 years with polyarticular JIA the dose is 400mcg/kg (max dose 25mg).
