Fructose-1,6-biphosphatase is an enzyme used in gluconeogenesis to convert fructose-1,6-biphosphate and water into fructose-6-phosphate and phosphate.
It may be inhibited by increasing cellular concentration of AMP or fructose-2,6-biphosphate.
