late HDN; onset: 2-12wk; common bleeding sites - intracranial,skin,GIT - intracranial haemorrhage accounts for 50% of bleeding episodes at presentation; aetiology - idiopathic, presenting feature of other disease (CF, biliary atresia, alpha-1 antitrypsin def.); often some degree of cholestasis present
