Clinical features
The clinical presentation of hepatic coagulopathy depends on the severity and nature of the underlying disease. A coagulation defect is suggested by:
- bleeding at any site
- oozing at venepuncture sites - from excessive fibrinolysis
- bruising (see photograph)
