Clinical features of Lennox-Gastaut syndrome

The seizure types found in the Lennox-Gastaut syndrome include:

  • tonic seizures, especially nocturnal
  • atypical absence seizures
  • atonic and myoclonic attacks
  • non-convulsive status
  • infantile spasms

Half of children will show developmental delay from diagnosis. All are affected within 5 years.
