Chymotrypsin

Chymotrypsin is an enzyme secreted in its inactive form, chymotrypsinogen, by the acinar cells of the pancreas. It is activated by another pancreatic enzyme, trypsin.

Chymotrypsin cleaves peptides and polypeptides to shorter peptide chains, tri- and dipeptides.
